A third generation stitcher, Marjorie taught 4 classes a week for 9 years at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston. During this time, Marjorie completed her teaching certification with the Embroiders Guild of America, Inc.; was certified as Master Teacher by American Needlework Guild, Inc.; received certification in Ecclesiastical Design by the Valentine Museum, (the only one ever awarded in this category). She continues her education by annually attending the Royal School of Needlework in England for various classes. Samples of her ecclesiastical designs are to be featured in ANG's November issue of Needle Pointers.
